Greetings to All

I have been watching developments in other sectors. We went through downgrades on stocks such as Intel to be followed shortly by upgrades on Dell's good news and sustained growth. Where there is growth in unit shipments I'm convinced the end ov the DD oversupply problem is not far away. It's just a question of who the leaders will be in this sector coming out of this downturn as I expect that the initial stock price rise early in the cycle will be the greatest in percentage terms. My money is on WDC as a result of its historical performance and strong management that adapts quickly to the changes in the market. Others such as SEG can't even get their drives qualified with OEM's before next generation phases in. This is what vertical integration does for them. It creates inefficiency. They only think they are saving money by not outsourcing. Low production costs aren't of any value if you are too late to market. Why else would SEG be talking to RDRT about outsourcing 15% of head production.

Good Luck to all
