Thanks for the links. Iv'e been to Newsteel, but not recently.

Don't know much about the end products of the steel producers, and this is what makes some of the puzzle interesting regarding imported steel. My guess is that imports would tend to be a few specific segments of the market, rathern than across the board.

I agree with your comment - a recessions - or even a slowing economy would be the problem for steel and RECY.

Note: it is also interesting the data in these articles is a bit different than the data I found. Generally, they agree (fortunately).
