To all thinking of going long: If the chart on Rambus is any guide, there is an excess of supply on the sell-side, and fewer buyers. Which means that not enough people think it is the right time to buy it, although the company is really good one. So hold on and wait for the demand to come along. Let the stock price stabilize in a trading range (indicating balance of buying and selling) before going long, whatever the news. Remember, Peter Lynch and Warren Buffet all have emphasized waiting patiently for the right price to purchase the stock. The importance of buying at a low enough price cannot be underestimated, however great the company appears. Going by the declining trendline of the chart, there is a good chance that this stock will bounce of the $40 low of last quarter before making any upward move.

Stephen.<gg>..Stop....you're too much.. Too be honest, I've not read the excellent references you cite, but will try to do so when I get stopped at a red light one day <g).. And I'll keep my eye on RMBS in the meantime.. If the Ibexx ever gives up on it, I'm jumping in! <gg>
BTW, if you are into the toad and frog (and E!el) analogies, pop on over to the PSUN thread and say hi to the Marvelous, Mystic E! and Mathon, both of whom are riding nice stakes up "leapfrog" fashion in that nice little winner.. My stake is smaller..
Ibexx has some excellent points, and I've watched him ride a lot of winners... but this year the trading game has been fantastic... AMAT, TER, VECO, DPMI, etc....it has been fabulous... and I'll keep running those red lights! <gg> Happy investing (or trading) Stephen! Duane
