Respond to of 1569612 Tenchu's Thoughts - Why The Brandon Are We Talking about Cat-Eating Haitians? This is absolutely fuckin' ridiculous. And I'm pretty sure this did NOT appear on anyone's "Whoppers Told By Trump" bingo card of 2024. During one of the most important, consequential debates of this presidential election, Trump uttered with conviction that Haitian migrants are "eating the pets" of the people that live in Springfield, OH. He was obviously saying this to place the blame on Harris and her "open border" policies. The only problem is that these claims were not true. In fact, it's UTTER BULLSHIT. And yet, Trump continues to double-down on this nonsense because he knows his supporters will lap it up like the brainwashed masses they are. His supporters will continue posting links to "proof" such as reports from some people there who don't have any hard evidence but are just making bass-ackwards assumptions based on racism. His supporters will also use the fact that the debate moderators dared to fact-check Trump in real time while not doing the same with Harris. But here's the thing: Such a ridiculous claim SHOULD be fact-checked in real-time. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Trump doesn't have any. He should expect the response he got from the moderators and not complain that Harris didn't get the same treatment, because Harris wasn't telling the same level of whoppers. It's like the police showing up over and over again at your house because you beat your wife, and you complain that the police are treating you unfairly. Well yeah, they're going to show up at your house much more often than the neighbors', because YOU are the one who is beating your wife. In other words, there IS no "fairness issue" because the circumstances are not equal. Harris isn't going around telling everyone that Haitian immigrants are eating cats and dogs. But But Whatabout The Crimes Committed By Haitians, Tenchu? Having failed to produce actual evidence, I noticed that the Trump supporters are trying desperately to put a grain of tr00th in Trump's wild-ass claims. Something like, "OK maybe we don't have video evidence of Haitians eating pets, but we do have real evidence of Haitians driving drunk and causing fatal accidents, or Haitians committing violent crimes in Springfield." OK, but do you have any evidence that Haitian migrants are committing these crimes at a higher rate than other people at their respective age groups and income levels? Probably not. Moreover, when an influx of migrants causes a town's population makeup to be 1/3 that of migrants, then yeah, we'd expect maybe 1/3 of the crimes committed there to be committed by migrants. But I really doubt that town was oh-so-crime free until the Haitians moved in there. Try telling the Q Continuum all of the above, however. They are utterly incapable of any critical thinking whatsoever. They just believe what they want to believe and shout down anyone else who doesn't go along with their insanity. (My favorite is how the Q Continuum hides behind a child like Aiden Clark, and like a Hamas terrorist, they take pot shots at you from the safety of their own intellectual human shield. Doesn't matter if his parents are telling the Q to stop their bullshit .)But But Tenchu, They Don't Belong Here In The First Place Ultimately Trump tried to pin this non-issue on Harris and her supposed friendly policies toward illegal immigration. But these Haitians are here legally. The Republican governor of Ohio said so. They are NOT "undocumented." Nor were they granted "legal" status by Kamala Harris and sent to Springfield during her tenure. They came starting in 2018, and many of them came during the Trump administration. So let's just settle it right here and now. These Haitians are NOT here illegally. In other words, both Trump and JD are LYING. They did not sneak across the border, nor are they the recipients of some "woke" handout. In fact, the policy on Haitian immigrants spans MULTIPLE administrations and is bipartisan. (So much for some of the claims that Trump is all for "legal immigration," because this is proof positive that he is NOT.)Back To The Original Question: Why The Brandon Are We Talking about Cat-Eating Haitians? Because 47% of Americans want to believe in this utter bullshit. Because 47% of Americans want Trump to win, and they will believe in ANYTHING if they think Trump is better for this nation than Harris. I've always said that Mitt Romney was right about the "47 percent." The only difference today is that the "47 percent" has shifted to Trump. If this "47 percent" becomes the new normal, if this "47 percent" is willing to believe in cAt-eAtInG tRaNsGeNdErEd hAiTiAn iNvAdErS, what does that say about the state of objective truth and our national unity? It can't be anything good. Tenchusatsu
