I'm sorry to say my opinion of you has declined from a high level years ago. I like reasoning, and being told facts I don't know, and different perspectives. Unfortunately there was none of that. Refugees by the ten million. China now reaching to Hungary again. USA reputation turned to mush. Brics joining up. And you seem set on dying in nuclear war. Along with any children, grandchildren, family, friends you might care about. The good news is that while USA, UK and nearly all of Eurostan will be obliterated, and most of Russia (it's so big that some areas won't be scorched, though nuclear winter will end the rest), China will be fine. India too. And Africa, south America, here and there. Maybe nuclear winter in the northern hemisphere will make China and elsewhere uninhabitable even if not directly blasted. Anyway, there will be several million survivors in the southern hemisphere if not the north. It won't take long for them to repopulate the vacant territories. Unless it goes full ice age with a kilometer of ice where New York is and across Eurostan. Maybe we'll get lucky and the escalation will stop with just a few atomic bombs going off, before full MAD. I would have gone nuclear long ago. I'd have saved the million dead. If not, then they'd just be a rounding error in the billions dead. Appeasing USA has not worked. They keep on scaling up. Cutting to the chase with an escalation would have forced USA to cease to exist or stop the onslaught before it got into tens of thousands dead, then hundreds of thousands, now about a million. I suppose Russia hoped USA would see reason. As we see in discussion here, expecting reason is foolish. Did you see Keir Starmer with his stupid red briefcase? What a clown. Who stopped the MADness? My understanding is that it was somebody in the Pentagon who thought the others had lost their minds. Mqurice
