Doug: Re: AINN
Please see the attached info on AINN about which you had inquired. Also, the "rumor" about SW Bell committing $10 million next week for AINN switches is more than rumor - SW Bell has successfully tested the 4800 models and supposedly will contract for 4800's with upgrades to the next generation switches as they're made available. Your TA coincides with this growth company, Doug.

AINN is based in Dublin, a very well-to-do suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Even though Columbus was shelved by the 56TA crew as a seminar location, it is a growing, prosperous town. Telecoms out the rear end are located there.

Doug,
re PRTL

Here's some more stuff, care of DeMark, supporting an imminent fall --

PRTL is on day #10 of a sell sequential.
Setup day #1: 1/9/98
Setup day #9: 1/22/98
Intersection: 1/26/98
Countdown days: 1/30,2/2,2/3,2/4,2/5,2/6,2/13,2/17,2/18,2/19

Potential recycle as a new sell setup is on day #4.

DeMark has two rate of Change oscillators (TDROC1 & TDROC2) which I've just recently coded in, and they both just registered an EXTREME OVERBOUGHT condition on 2/9 & 2/10 indicating a continuation of the upward trend. (we can see that this held true) Interpretation of these indicators calls for a MILD overbought condition before selling would be called far. Looking at the data, it is very possible that yet another Extreme reading will come about before this happens.

at any rate, just thought it might be interesting to see how a completely different angle on the TA is supporting your own IL/ACT.

Doug,

I know you have been busy lately and haven't had much time to yourself. However, I am interested in finding out if you were able to get to FIBR as you wanted to a couple of days ago. Not a big deal, but
if you have already looked at it, I am really interested in knowing your thoughts.

Also, since you have studied AINN, what is your target for AINN? It seem to have shown interest in moving up.

TIA
Ramesh

Dear Mike,

The company would normally pre announce during the last week of
January. This year there will be no pre announcement. Earnings
for the year ending 12/31/97 will be announced on Feb. 17, 1998.
At this time the company will make all announcemences about the
new internet access switch. This switch can differentiate between
data and voice. The magic is that it connects and is compatable
with all the telephone company switches. There are about 500,000
stations in the U. S. where this switch can be installed. The
switch will sell for around $50,000 a copy. If you do the math
you find several billions of dollars in this market. This switch
will solve most of the traffic problems on the web. There is
another telephone company besides U. S. West who will be testing
the product soon. The new switch is termed the 4800, the next
generation switch is the 5800, and is do for release in the third
quarter. The question with U. S. West, is whether or not they
will buy the 4800 or wait for the 5800. The market for this
product is huge and AINN stands to make a great deal of money
before the competition catches up with them. We will know all of
the answers on Feb. 17.
