Teamsters just announced they are NOT endorsing Trump.

Sean O'Brien, general president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in America, spoke to Republicans Monday night, telling the GOP, "We need trade policies that put American workers first."

Bill,
Teamsters just announced they are NOT endorsing Harris.
This confirms Peter Zaihan's view of a fundamental shift in political fault lines.

Democrats used to lock up the union vote, but that's no longer the case these days.

The Teamsters, it seems, are now in favor of more protectionism in order to protect their blue-collar workers, who are increasingly in favor of Trump-style policies.

I'm also sure that the Teamsters didn't like how the Democrats catered more and more to rich urban elitists, as well as elitists in academia.

We'll see how this plays out. It is noteworthy, though, that the Teamsters did NOT endorse Trump.

Instead, they took this opportunity to signal to the Democrats that they are done being allies with the "woke."

More on the Teamsters not endorsing Harris:

Teamsters won’t endorse in presidential race after releasing internal polling showing most members support Trump (CNN)

The Democrats, the mainstream media, and the political pundits will all have to come to terms over this new political reality.
