Thom,

The GTIS Duke movie won't be out until 1999 or year 2000 - I wouldn't expect the price to hold up until then just because of the press release. Probably alot of short covering the last few days, I expect a slide to start fairly soon. I sold my GTIS for a tiny profit. When you look at last year, they lost money. They wrote off R&D as a "special" charge because they had to stop amortizing R&D costs due to pressure from the lawsuits, but the bottom line is all other game companies charge R&D upfront, like ATVI, and ATVI is profitable, GTIS without funny accounting is not. I am not sure if there is any merit to the 8 lawsuits filed against GTIS, but I wasn't going to hang around to find out. Maybe GTIS buried so much stuff in their "special" charge that they will look good for a few quarters, who knows. I must say, ATVI looks alot more solid than GTIS at the moment. I am still waiting to see what happens this summer.

BTW - I don't think ATVI will get their moneys worth from the Raven aquisition. Hexen II (just OK), Mageslayer(total flop).
