Alydaar's ad in the WSJ (2/19/98) was about slightly less than 1/6th
of a page. Compuware's was about 1/2 the page. SAP was the only one of a few dozen ads that was a full page. In Alydaar's ad, it offered the 10,000 lines of code free challenge. It was the only company to make such an offer. It also mentioned the clients DuPont, 3M, Nabisco, Whirlpool, and McDonell Douglas. Again, it was the only company actually naming so many impressive companies. However, Compuware, in its ad, states, "For Year 2000 solutions, four out of five of the world's largest corporations rely on Compuware."

ALYD also says in its ad that it makes "1-3 errors per million lines of code," clearly the lowest of those making such a statement.
