Qone0, I assume you are talking about taxes here. No I'm not talking about taxes. Instead I'm talking about explicit wealth redistribution programs and how those are mistaken for "charity." The mentality goes like this, "Well of course I care about the poor! That's why I vote Democrat!" Whoever thinks that is NOT being charitable. Instead, that person is fulfilling Ayn Rand's definition of an altruist. Because it's stupidly easy to be "charitable" with other people's money. Tenchusatsu
