I haven't paid any attention to options on Refr, and know that $2.50 is the nearest strike price for the stock. I have no idea if there was anything in the way of "open interest" on calls/puts. Probably not. I was just thinking out loud about why we had a sudden surge in the price in the last five minutes of trading and then I realized today was a "triple witching" Friday for stock/commodity indexes etc.

The stock price has lingered in a narrow range on low volume, so that sudden burst of buying in the last five minutes made no sense to me. I guess we'll find out on Monday if that was real buying or the squaring up of positions by some brokerage house on options expiration day.
