I should have said social science. Sociology is has a science aspect to it. And that is primarily what differentiates Democrats from Republicans. Democrats write health and social services legislation according to what the modern day science says. Republicans don't even believe in social science and stick to their main job which is to make the rich richer by cutting social programs and their taxes, and regulations that get in their way of making a bigger profit, like clean air and water and protecting the environment.
