CFON -- Another press release about an event of questionable value to the company:

biz.yahoo.com

CFON will supply equipment to HELP Innovations, a startup company in Lawrence Kansas that is attempting to market videophone service to home-care patients, as a cost-effective alternative to home-care visits. I suppose there is an enormous potential market here if they can convince Medicare/Medicaid officials to pay for this. But, according to the company's web site, --
helpinnovations.com.
-- they only finished a Beta test of their service December 1996, with only 43 patients involved at that time, all in Kansas. They also were using cable and ISDN equipment at the time. I could find no other information about the size of the company currently.

Roger,

Thanks for your insight. I was disturbed to see GA among the companies there. I know I had mentioned it to you as a possible long. I've decided to get out of that one until I observe further developments. They are also late in reporting earnings which also makes me suspicious.

What price did you short SPEH at and what is your target. I managed to get an order through at 12 1/4 today. Thanks.

Hank
