Info on Clarion aftermarket Auto PC pricing, per Business Week:

$1299 for base system, which includes voice-activated AM-FM stereo, CD/CD-ROM drive, navigation system, electronic address book.

Options:

$400 -- CD changer; 6 disk system for music CD's and data CD-ROMs

$250 -- GPS receiver. Pinpoints car location for navigation and emergency and security services. (This is confusing. I though navigation was part of the base expense and the option is only for communication in emergencies.)

$150 -- Wireless receiver. E-Mail alerts. Real time traffic updates, headlines and sports scores. (I think some of that is available over ordinary radios for less money.)

$150 -- Cell phone cradle. Hands free operation and voice activated calling from address book.

Seems like a possible good deal for real estate property assessors, among others.

Any reason for the fair size drop today, on better than average volume?
