Thanks pup … yeah I know it does have some followers and many more lurk rather than post but SI is clearly going the wrong way with engagement and we’re not getting any new members, or at least not a significant number of them. Moving to a new and more current technology should yield better interaction and audience

If you check the dates of last post and their profiles, most of those folks haven't posted in over 20 years on SI. Many got washed out in the Dot Com crash.

Of those who did post after that, quite a few haven't done so in several years.

I know there are a number of lurkers, but not hundreds of them. The move to Reddit was a wise choice if there are already over 150 members.
