Take a Valium Jim. I could be wrong of course, but I get the impression from your posts that you are very deep into Biotime. Biotime is, indeed, a scam. It isn't even a very complex or well thought-out scam. It's just a simple pump and dump scheme. It is not up to the skeptic to disprove a claim, it is up to the company making the claim to prove it is true. Biotime's clinical data does not prove Hextend's superiority over anything. Now to address some of your ...ahhh.. unusual concerns: <<1. He takes every negative as if it were the Gospel itself regardless of the source>> This is false. Example: I am also short Zonagen but I questioned the accuracy of a recent Wessels Arnold research report that was actually negative on Zonagen's drug Vasomax because Wessels has been involved in questionable and unethical practices in the past. <<2. Since every negative heard is the Gospel to Bill any data or hard evidence, or anecdotal evidence to the contrary is because company 'abc' or 'xyz' is running a scam. This word will appear often here in Bill's posts.>> Biotime's scam involves false promotion of a product for the sole purpose of inflating their stock price. I call 'em as I see 'em. <<3. Any stock that moves contrary to his predetermined ideas is somehow 'manipulated'.>> Not always, but there is clear evidence of manipulation in many of the speculative high-fliers with small floats. By the way, "manipulation" is not necessarily a bad word because all companies do it to some extent. Companies try to sell stock and will employ window dressing from time to time. Sometimes heavily shorted stocks will be squeezed. It's part of the game and it's perfectly legal. The problem for the small investor is that stocks like Biotime will get juiced much more often and more severely - hence the volatility. <<Bill is right. >> Yes...I am. <<His rumors are right. His flawed interpretation of data is right. Everything else is wrong. Every historical event in the markets that go contrary to his designs are the result of sinister Anti-Wexler forces.>> You really, really need to relax. <<You still have yet to explain why the Biotime insiders continue to BUY and have not yet sold ONE share. >> One of the techniques insiders will sometimes use to juice their stock is to make token purchases which show up as SEC 144 filings...giving the false impression that they have confidence in the stock price rising. In the meantime, they will use much, much larger quantities of their insider shares to collateralize margin accounts. This will require a 13D filing but they can turn around and say, "but we didn't SELL any of the stock." This technique was also used by the executives at Solv-ex as a roundabout way to liquidate their positions. Check the most recent 13D filings for Biotime. <<You also did not respond with any data to support your claim that Hextend is not superior to Hespan despite the data that came out of the Phase III trials >> The Phase III trials did not show any "superiority" over Hespan. Your interpretation of the data is incorrect. Furthermore, there is suspicion about the methods and locations Biotime used to conduct its trials and release its results. <<Sit back and read Bill's response to my questions and the data and see if this is the kind of guy you would trust with your money.>> There's one sure way I'm going to get some of your money....and that's if you buy the Biotime stock I'm shorting to you. :^D
