*the exact moment I realized the Iraq invasion was a complete lie.* For me it was when the administration tried to pass off anodized aluminum tubes, like for use in unguided rockets, as uranium centrifuges. The tubes were extruded, which means they would never be balanced enough to spin. It was so obvious that I knew Cheney and his team were not making some kind of mistake, it had to be an out-and-out lie. The rest of the 'weapons of mass destruction' was just confirmation.
