Car market is a mess. Or maybe it's in flux. All the auto related stocks I am following (mfgrs, retailers, part suppliers) are down today. Electric vehicles have many advantages over ice cars. Cheaper to manufacture/assemble and thus many new suppliers can enter the fray. Room maybe for quirky little companies too. Pretty good range for some electric bikes now too. Maybe demand for cars will shrink. Agree we shouldn't let Chinese/Koreans take over our market. Best electric car rating is Korean. I believe though, because it is mfg'd Korea, it doesn't qualify for fed tax credit - makes buy decision much tougher for this car/model.

Pretty satisfied with my town runabout, Fiat500e. Not so happy with the stock though -g-. I'll continue to hold.

So many Tesla's in my neighborhood (suburban, so no problem with 240v for any electric). Tesla must be the Volkswagen Beetle of this decade. Couple Rivans here too. Several electric Audis. Some GM/Ford electrics probably too, but they're nondescript to me, so I don't notice them. I see a nice Fiat500e for sale at about $5k with 80k miles - could be a nice commuter car for college kid.

==== I'll up my few BABA shares a little. I am still buying clothes from them. Postal rates have gone up as mentioned before. Likely will go higher with new fed rules.
