Always good to take some profits. Try to harvest any losers too. I will update my 4 picks for 2025 (typically an 18 month hold) as I been building those positions earlier this year. So far working good but difficult finding bargains to start anything new until we get a stiff correction.

Any buy after some correction will be my 2026 picks. Always buying looking at least 18 months out. I typically NEVER buy at highs and scan the 52wk low list like Paul Sr. Consider it dumpster diving but it has worked in the past & s/d work in the future.

FWIW, UNFI reports tomorrow before the open. Market expects a loss of $0.08/share. Stock traded as low as $8.93/share 4/2024; +88% at $17/share well above the SMA(200) daily but below the SMA(200) weekly at $29/share. Got my avg cost to $11/share but still hold underwater shares bought 9/2023 at $19.

I did add a few 4/2024 at $9/share but only a 5% add. I do have 50% of the position from 2/2020 at $6.50/share.

Not only does the Value investor have to identify the right time to Buy but also the right size. UNFI has had a difficult time maintaining their margins w/ food & fuel inflation but maybe they have figured out those logistic challenges.

Could we see another run back to $30/share? My plan is to peel off 16% of my high cost shares on any good earnings, especially if they show positive FCF. This may/could be one of my 2025 winners if it can make it back to it's SMA(200) weekly. Could we see $40/share?

I have followed the company through several cycles & acquisitions so anything is possible
