I'm not so biased that I would call it an overrecation, I think CIEN was too pricey in the upper 50's and now it is reasonably priced for long-term capital appreciation.

This is one of the fastest growing start-up companies in history. CIEN has gone from zero revenues in the first half of 1996 to over $450 million for the TTM. Companies like A$ND, TLAB, (even C$CO) haven't grown that fast.

Ciena reported $134 million in revenues yesterday. Cisco didn't report numbers like that until late 1992. (Cisco was started in 1984 and came public in Jan 1990).
