Dell maybe a boxmaker but it makes more money than Compaq. Wall Street does not understand or care what you make or how you make it. Its whether you are good at making money in it that interests them. You could be making and selling brooms or toilet paper with high margins over the internet and making headroads into newer markets and if your ROI is 200%+ you will outperform the market. CPQ has to prove it can make more money with this BTO model. Till today I am not entirely convinced that they can fully make use of this model till they get rid of the resellers who add no value at all plus you gotta give a cut to them. -hitesh
