So, why didn’t he donate that money to the Bureau of the Public Debt so government could decide how it was spent?

The answer to that question is staring you in the face if you think about it. Warren Buffet once addressed it publicly as well. And there is a really good reason no wealthy person does.

That's great, Doren. Bill Gates wants to donate his wealth to charity, but he wants other billionaires to donate their collective wealth to the federal government.
not one of the billionaires he targets will suffer at all. ... Meanwhile plenty of people in the US are suffering every day...
