Thanks to the miracle of futures trading,

I was stopped out and then reversed to short and covered my loss by selling off half the position for a 2.50 gain.

The remainder has a close stop so my net for the day will (at worst) be marginally profitable. Once balance is taken out or I cover it outright I'm finished for the day, it's too wacky.....expiration days are often notable for being trendless.

You have to give a lot of credit to the tech stocks in the NASD for holding it up, as DELL has propelled them somewhat.

I agree in general. We could pop up at any moment. I do think any "pop" would be a fair place for a small amount of March puts to be acquired looking for a gap down Monday.
