You are right on target. The only thing is that we would be better off if the traders and market makers would pay attention to his greedy desires and decide to get some enjoyment at his expense.

If a short squeeze were to start the profit for the traders and market makers due to the increase in volume would be greater than what has been made from the low volume being generated from those selling small amounts of shares because they are being scared by people like Rarebird making unsupported remarks.

I might add that one could not have shorted CUBE at 22 1/2 since the bid never got that high in 1998... that said, I agree that it is best to ignore the rarefowl since he thrives off the negativism which surrounds him.
