I think it has to be 20% of shares outstanding, and not the float. Here's a little tidbit from CBS Marketplace, FWIW: Media Matrix said the January sample showed a substantial gain in the number of sites attracting substantial traffic. Firm president Mary Ann Packo said, "more Web sites than ever have noteworthy traffic. The big sites continue to grow while smaller sites have the opportunity to thrive as well." She said Media Matrix's January survey included visits to almost 6,000 Web sites, a gain of 500 from December's report.ÿ Online sales key to Net in 1998 The buzzwords for the Internet this year are electronic commerce. Lawrence York, manager of the 17-month-old WWW Internet Fund, expects to see online sales growth of as much as 300 percent this year. MasterCard and Visa are working on Net payment standards and the resulting convenience of electronic ordering, security and delivery system "is going to make the consumer king". KJ
