>> You say you don't want government deciding who can protest and who can't, yet you want Trump to pardon all the January 6th insurrectionists and punish all of the BLM rioters.

J6 protestors, for the most part, did no damage. I believe the physical damage to the structure was about $2,000,000 to replace broken windows, then they spent 28 million just trying to make it more secure for next time. The only person killed or seriously injured was Ashli Babbitt (I heard someone lost an eye but no evidence of that was provided that I know of). So, it was a riot.

No buildings were burned. No one was killed. No one seriously injured. Feelings were hurt. Hundreds were jailed for jay-walking and hurting people's feelings. And a few were jailed for actually having committed some sort of real crime. There weren't any actual weapons found (one guy was open-carrying an unloaded gun), the rest came from searches for cars parked far away or in some cases in hotel rooms.

It was ridiculous in every respect.

The worst crime? Letting the murderer of Ashli Babbit walk scot-free.

Yes, I want EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM pardoned. The entire DC Court system is tainted. Those trials should never have happened in that context. The people who committed crimes, charge them with those crimes. But don't make shit up, which is what they did.

>> You say that the government made Twitter lean left, but I can assure you that no one at Twitter pre-Musk needed his or her arm twisted.

We do know this with certainty. We know that government officials were contacting people at Twitter giving them marching orders. And people at FB as well. They were poisoning the well to defeat Trump. That isn't even subject to question at this point. Greats like Taibbi totally ran the entire thing down after Musk bought it. How can you not grasp that?

>> You have no idea how good you have it here in America.

I've been here since the 1950s and I know how great it was when it was at its best. I see the US as becoming a shithole, starting with your locality and moving eastward. I see the south as the primary bulwark against it, and Trump as part of it.

Personally, I have concluded that anyone supporting Harris is either not engaged or is stupid. You don't fit in that category, and it is confusing to me, but I know one other person who I consider to be highly intelligent who has fallen into that trap. I don't get it but it is what it is.
