Inode, Dr. Fauci has not done anything remotely criminal.

The only thing he might have done is approve of funding to an organization that may have done "gain of function" research, but there was no evidence of any intentional cover-up.

Look, all I know is that according to Rand Paul should go to prison because he was dishonest in his testimony before Congress. Paul further stated, “History should judge him as a deficient person who made one of the worst decisions in public health history — in the entire history of the world.”

"
The Kentucky Republican, who believes the virus came from a lab in China, accused Fauci of directly contributing to the deaths of “somewhere between 10 and 20 million” with his decision to “fund dangerous research — gain-of-function research, where you allow viruses to be combined.”

----

So, those are serious charges and are worthy of a trial, but agreeably, Fauci is an old man and perhaps it serves little purpose.

The bottom line is that Trump's claims are not unfounded. Fauci does at least appear to have committed serious crimes that resulted in many deaths. Whether jail is what should happen is a matter for courts. Perhaps Paul is speaking in hyperbole, I don't know.

But Trump is not out of line to look at Rand Paul's findings and agree with him.
