Here's what AI has to say...not such a stretch. Government has gotten very big...with this comes a loss of true representation of the American people. Many rules and regulations, often conflicting with each other and sometimes unnecessary. Rules and regulations continue to be issued. This activity is often to sustain the many government entities that exist.The 'deep state' is more of a 'condition' than an actual organization. I've worked in the technical world with the government for over 40 years. I've seen it grow exponentially. I've seen how cumbersome it's become. I watched Elon Musk run circles around the government bureaucracy in the space arena. The flower beds are full of weeds = the Deep State.
