Lots of people, including you, were very excited when the Jets signed Rogers.

I was neutral about signing a soon to be 40 year old QB.

Anyway, I doubt Woody will be stupid enough to resign Rogers. If so, I am finished with the Jets.

Mets: I am thoroughly convinced that the Mets can easily beat the Yankees if they are the final two teams standing. What I am not so sure about is if the Mets can beat the Padres or Dodgers.

Interesting, when Cohen bought the team he said his goal was to bring a World Series title to NY in 5 years. This is year 5.

When Cohen made that comment, he probably thought that he could buy the talent to win the World Series. It sure did not work out that way. Cohen ended up dumping almost all the high priced talent to bolster the farm system. Now the team, outside of Lindor, is mostly composed of frugal pickings from a head of baseball operations who found success in a low ball market.

I wouldn't bet Mets over Dodgers or Padres, but I will root hard for them.
