I think some peope calculate the starting price different. Some go by what the stock was priced at for the IPO and some go by when the stock first traded on the open market.

That might explain some of the confusion.

The second URL shows the performance from 11/89. Both are over %25000, but CISCO wins out:

Probably not important, but:

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Olicom A/S shares fell 11% Friday after the
Danish networking company told analysts its first-quarter North American
sales are slower than expected.
Lazard Freres & Co. analyst Michael Duran said Olicom, which makes
token-ring switches and token-ring adapter cards, sells in North America
through a direct distribution channel and provides components to Cisco
Systems Inc. for its token-ring switches.
Duran said sales through the direct channel have been slower than
expected because customers are still evaluating a new token-ring switch,
which Olicom started shipping in the fourth quarter.
The company said it isn't sure why sales to Cisco have slowed, but
Duran believes this could be due to a lack of focus on this business by
Olicom.
The analyst stressed, however, that the issues facing Olicom are
related to distribution since the company has strong products and a
leading share of the token-ring switch market.
Duran estimates Olicom will report earnings of 38 cents a diluted
share on revenue of $76 million for its first quarter, but he added
those numbers could come down. On a pro-forma basis, the company earned
29 cents a share on revenue of $60 million in the same quarter a year
earlier, he said.
Company officials weren't immediately available for comment.
Olicom shares (OLCMF) closed at $26.50, down $3.19, or 11%, on Nasdaq
volume of 408,800, compared with a daily average of 165,400.
