Greg. You are right about the shelf location. When I picked up my supply at a grocery store in Niagra, New York, the shelf space was at eye level...couldn't miss it. There was no display however...they will probably save that for the national roll out.

Greg, good post, but you forgot one thing: the chewing gum!

I am long and staying long. All those smug shorts were hovering over their $5 buy to cover. No way. My message is: cover while you still can. We will see trial results in March, more analyst hype, etc. The recent low, prior to the consolidation, was probably the bottom. Today, volume was down, but the price held well.

Harry

Greg, I found Enamelon near in my neighborhood (Michigan). When was the national rollout supposed to "go down"? The last I heard was Enamelon could only be found in the 5 or so test markets (New York, Denver Colorado, etc.). I was totally shocked to find it around here. Not to mention I found it at a Rite Aid Pharmacy...Rite Aid was not on the roll out list of companies to receive Enamelon.

The shelf space allocated to the paste was the same layout I saw in New York; About elbow-eye level with no display.

There were only three 6.0 ounce boxes on the shelf...either they received a small shipment or people have been buying it up.

The box has changed some since my last purchase. The colors are still the same but the diagram showing the calcium and phosphate LEAVING the tooth (on the back) is gone and there is a large white space. Sodium Fluoride is still the only active ingredient. They still print "Proven to strengthen tooth enamel", but there are no indications that the monoammonium phosphate and calcium sulfate help remineralization. The face of the box says "Anticavity FLOURIDE toothpaste for the entire family".
