I would suggest to reporters that they focus more on interviewing the listeners to see what THEY think about the comments, rather than giving THEIR OWN interpretations of Trump's comments.

Another strawman of yours. Plus a change of subject. I never said or suggested that reporters deliver as news their interpretations of Trump's comments. I argued only that quotes are facts, thus should be treated as such.
