So what merit do you think these suits have? I see none--delays happen to products, and suing for advertising--come on! These people have made up something to sue about just because the stock dropped. They can't take responsibility for themselves.

"It has been my observation that in the case of a "judgment" call, most reputable firms choose to be conservative and reject a case."

This is all crap. What these firms are getting is free advertising that is it.... IOM the biggest internet stock ever. How many readers now are focusing on these law firms? How many have hear their names?? How many have sent them mail?? Risk vs. Reward They are willing to mug IOM for the publicity period. Why multiple press releases? In case we missed the first ones?? They attack IOM for same reason Herb whatever the heck his name is, IOM has wide following, thus if I can get my name associated with it, I too will get a wide following....

Trufflette,

Well, I guess you must be right. These guys wouldn't waste their time on loser cases. After all, loser cases don't pay.

So, what's in it for the shareholders?

Just wondering. For example, what do you yourself expect to get?

Also, why should company funds be used to defend the CEO against insider trading charges? That can't be right. He should be on his own there, I should think.
Any thoughts on this?

E

I am glad that they are selective in choosing their cases. With 7 new lawsuits per month, they attempt to nail 84 dastardly companies per year.
