Yup, Elon is a morally devoid person who is far more concerned with is personal wealth than that of his fellow man.
It's not even about his wealth anymore.

Instead, it's about his oversized ego.

Elon believes he is going to save humanity from itself.

And he's going to do it by trolling the world and offering to impregnate childless cat ladies in order to combat depopulation.
