Basically he didn't answer the question. And not only did he dodge the question, but one would have to work overtime in order to "sanewash" Trump's responses, so I won't bother. Instead, I'll say exactly how I would have responded if I were in Trump's shoes ... Micklethwait: Should Google be broken up? TenchuTrump: No, I don't think we need to break up Google. I do believe they're biased against me, and I think we need to revisit laws like the Fairness Doctrine to see if Google stepped over the line due to their woke politics. I do believe they are a monopoly, though. And as a monopoly, they need to follow a different set of rules so as not to unjustly use their market power to either cement their dominance, or assert undue interference into our political process. Under me, I will direct the DOJ to clarify exactly where Google crossed the line, and I will direct them to use every means available to them in order to get Google to comply. On the other hand, breaking up Google (or Alphabet for that matter) may do more harm to our economy and our high-tech leadership than necessary. And if we're going to compete against China, we need to merely guide Google back onto the straight and narrow, now sue them into irrelevance. I could go on and on about the history of monopolies and anti-trust enforcement in the high-tech sector, but I think I've said enough. What's the next question? Tenchusatsu
