david, thanks very much for your post regarding new drug. do you or anyone else know what the time frame for getting the drug approved if trials go well. also, anyone have any ideas of the cost to get the drug approved. i saw the japanese drug company paid 12m for rights two years ago. anyone have an estimate as to the price tag for europe rights. will these two rights sell be enough to offset the burn rate to get new drug to approval.

Richard,

<<I believe those of you who do not believe should wait to purchase. Purchase the stock based upon success in the clinical trials not upon messages posted here.>>

I'm not so sure I agree. At today's price of $5.75/share, MGI-114 is getting a free ride on the back of Salagen. If potential investors wait for confirmation, be it sales from Salagen for Sjogren's, results for the MGI-114 phase II trials or the European deal, they will have to expect the price of the stock to reflect those results. IMO, if one waits for clinical trial results from phase II for MGI-114, other dynamics of the MGI story could push the MOGN share price out of single digit range.

However, I fully agree that potential investors should do their own research and not purchase based on SI messages. Particularly the occasionally rambling messages from people like me that become a little intoxicated by the possibilities of Salagen and MGI-114.
