The pill is called Program, and is designed to make female fleas infertile. In my experience, the topical treatment (applied between your pet's shoulder blades) is a superior and quite effective approach.

Yes, Proban was the pill I was referring to. Both Topline and Advantage are similiar. Topline does say it is effective against ticks.
