Truff, if you're offended at losing 30% (like the rest of us) AFTER
the market closed, why aren't you more interested in the "discovery"
of who was doing the selling?

The drop was before the conference call. (yeah, I *know* you know
that). If you were to claim that the directors were doing the
after hours selling, fine, have your lawsuit against the company.
If you don't, then why join the riff-raff?

"I don't know about you, but I get offended at losing 30% of the stock price in one day completely out of the blue like that"

I also was surprised by the missed earnings, but we did have a warning! This is an excerpt from the Jaz2 delay news release (12/18/97):

"We would prefer not to ship a product before it's met all of our internal quality standards," said Susan Stillings, director of investor relations. "We had planned on revenue (from the two-gigabite drive) in the fourth quarter and we're disappointed that we didn't ship it."

The whole release can be read at:

IMO, it's the analysts fault for completely overlooking this statement. Last time I ever regard an analysts "belief" over my own.

Thanks for being part of the problem..... Crying or joining the class due to your investment choices isn't going to make your purse any more laden with treasures. Let me just see if I understand your position correctly: Your a high risk options player that lost your money. How can you be ticked? Those that play options or margin and cry about their losses to the extent of joining or initiating class action suits are A BIG PART OF THE PROBLEM.
