As I probably expected, that F80 was likely in development for a while. Since the model with SPD began shipping this year, my take is that they wanted to see how well it was received before incorporating it into more models. We should be getting into more OEMs already. I have ran out of excuses of why it's such a grind for Gauzy and Refr.

Getting back to some of the other series of questions that John Nelson had asked, or which I'll answer here or include in my closing remarks. Any indications that Ferrari is going to expand the SPD roof option to other models?

John, we expect that to happen based upon recent discussions I've had with Ferrari and also because it has happened with all of the other OEMs that adopted SPD and also when you consider this is a highly successful feature for Ferrari, I think for Ferrari, I think it looks very good'

I told you so! I said on10/18/24;

I left the F1 track an hour ago because of rain.
The roof on the F80 and related cars is carbon fiber, not SPD. There were suggestions from one of my Ferrari guys (president of Ferrari Mexico) that SPD will be expanding its footprint at Ferrari. Not sure which models or when.

Just showing the YouTube, Korean Car Blog, and Google searchers that if you want information EARLY you go get it organically, the old fashioned way, by seeing what is happening (or NOT happening) and what people at high levels have to say.

But I am keeping my promise, I won’t share anymore of my DD on SI. (But I might tell you when you are wrong, just to twist your arrogant noses. I won’t tell you why you are wrong, but if you are wrong I might tell you. Or not. LOL)
