From GFF magazine, 7/26/24:

Haverkamp develops dimmable sun protection film

Film based on ISPD technologyThe ISPD technology is behind the dimmable film. ISPD (intelligent suspended particle device) is a smart further development of the PDLC films that Haverkamp has had in its portfolio for some time. "Our experience has given us a development advantage here, because the Click Film Dynamic also works on the basis of electricity," explains Haverkamp.

The solution lies in tiny particles embedded in a transparent, electrically conductive material. Depending on the power supply, these align themselves in the electric field. When switched off, the film is completely darkened. If you want to adjust the VLT, i.e. increase the light transmission of the film, you simply change the power supply via the sensor.

More form GFF about their PDLC deveolpment here.
