Jake story of the day: We took him to a local reservation (sort of like a big woods with streams, hills, etc.) He loves it--running like the wind (off leash in the more remote parts), through the streams, chasing squirrels (thanks to El Nino, we are now sort of having spring). Problem was, he thought he could catch the deer--so off he galloped, until he was so far away, and I was screaming so loud, he finally figured out he had done something REALLY BAD, and came hurtling back down the hill, across the stream, and up the hill to mom. So, Jake too, can run fast (but he's actually better at jumping in the air and twisting around--a salchow I think). Jake's mom (Monday blues, Jake's sad, Dad's sad, and Mom's sad. We can't wait for another walk in the woods)
