PAA... A Rollercoaster Ride...

>>>Beware of PAA ....they just dodged chapter 11, filed 8K instead, and rumor has it the Fed Marshalls are lined up to confiscate at least one aircraft that PAA has defaulted on the lease payments. They have no money and tons of debt. Check out the Yahoo thread on PAA for COMPLETE analysis.... it traded as low as 1/4 just 2 days ago and now is over 1 ... I got in and out and made a few thousands but it was pure luck. Never again.<<<

Thanks for the warning tmrent...

A stock that falls from the 11.00 range to under 1.00 definitely has problems... But, as a trading vehicle, money can be made, as you did, on short emotional buying bursts... I think it has something to do with the Magical Pan Am name... That's why I suggested waiting for a return to the .44 area... A move up from the .44 area would signify a double bottom confirmation...

Remember, we are talking technicals, not fundamentals... Based on fundamentals you wouldn't touch it... But looking at the technicals can give short term trading guidance, and may be indicative of future Fundamental changes...
