Have you read the Border Security Bill? It is a disaster for border security.
They call for a set limit on how many people can come in at a time, with automatic shutdowns during periods when the border is flooded. It seems like a very sensible plan to me.

But of course, to you xenophobes who believe legal migrants are eAtInG cAtS aNd dOgS, letting in even one migrant is a "disaster."
