IMO, if the technology is worth using, and FORD does not take it, I'm sure Japan will be very interested. Our "BIG 3" have had to play catch up before, because of their arrogance. Japan has no problem at all in using and copying the best from others. I think FORD remembers getting bit before. I would imagine they will make very sure about the BAAT before putting thumbs down. Missing an opportunity such as this looks, will cause them great regrets for many years to come.
