It could be that El-Nino excuses did not ring true with most folks, but I felt that heavy rains probably did have some negative effect on operations, as a meterologist, I usually know the hype from the truth regarding El-Nino. More importantly, MINE is preparing to go at it with an open pit and leaching. I'm don't yet know everything I should regarding all this, but I think the descision to give up playing games and do the open pit sounds correct. The results from the next set of samples I beleive will be announced next month, assays is the correct terminology? Anyway, don't want to sound like I am hyping when I have not yet done my research. The companies web site has the last report--I read it through and it looked okay to me. After all, this is a pretty simple industry--naturally the Bolivian boonies is not the best place to run a mine, but what little infrastructure is neccessary seems to be in place--there is a cooperative mining associaton, mines in place for thousands of years, MINE's heavy equipment is there and I wouldn't imagine the switch in technique is any big trick, certainly the Bolivians will not present any ecological road blocks etc. Anyway, thanks for your time, when I have something more certain and better researched I'll drop by again with some links and numbers.
