Eric, I suspect China would finally invade Taiwan under Brenda I think there's a higher likelihood of that happening under Trump, given how Trump is treating our global alliances. Tariffs are a club and tool that worked really well the last time everyone said the world would end. That wasn't the point. The point was the way Trump portrayed tariffs as being only a cost that foreign nations would bear. Even left-wing economists called bullshit on that. And yes, I am fully aware of their double-standard when it comes to "fact-checking" Trump. (They don't "fact-check" Harris' wealth tax, for example.) But like I said many times before, "whataboutisms" don't excuse Trump from being completely and utterly clueless when it comes to the global economy. Tenchusatsu
