The key word in that chart is "all grades" not just regular which is what most people buy and the price I experienced. Not to mention it's an average of all stations.

The cheap gas I found was in eastern wa, as soon as you got close to Seattle it jumped anywhere from 20-40 cents.

Right now it's $3.79 at one gas station (I use) and $4.20 at another 2 miles away in my town of Olympia - that's quite a range - where's kamala to get after these price gougers?

Here's the cool thing about lies, damned lies and statistics.

The average price of regular gas in Washington state is $4.072:

Here are some other average gas prices in Washington state:

  • Mid-grade: $4.332
  • Yesterday's average: Regular: $4.073, Mid-grade: $4.345
  • Week ago's average: Regular: $4.062, Mid-grade: $4.319
  • Month ago's average: Regular: $4.139, Mid-grade: $4.403
Gas prices in Washington are higher than the national average due to:
  • Taxes
  • Costs from climate initiatives
  • Station prices can vary, even in the same city

Yet the lowest gas price today in my town, which is what I was referencing...this is a good .48 cents lower than the average.
