see a modest 6% growth in volume Does WMB grow volumes 6% each year on average? I'm not arguing with your thesis of why the share prices have appreciated, it's just speculation. But will WMB have a meaningful bump in growth in the next year or two relative to WMB history? That would explain the price increase. If not, it's just....sentiment. Anything that makes the prices go up is good, but actual growth is much preferable to positive sentiment, especially if you plan to hold.
