Bids in FCC local multipoint distribution service (LMDS) auctions are likely to range from pennies per pop in rural areas to $25-$30 in major urban markets, according to study by Strategis Group. It predicts auction could generate $4 billion. Strategis predicts big market for LMDS, reaching "conservative" $7 billion annual revenue by 2007, making it what company calls best wireless technology since cellular.

Steven, Your assessment is very plausible... at least the one I inferred. If a few low volume - but consistently low priced - trades at the end of the day can undo any price rise, the stock/company could be viewed as being held hostage to those well timed trades. If a buyout is in the wind, obviously the potential buyer would love the stock to be as low as possible. Such volatility after 15:45 is discouraging but I think very transparent. ( I will start paying attention to the end of the day trades).

Manipulation can and has worked, especially with such a small float and a company with a product or technology in the formative stage as is LMDS... it is possible to play such games... but not for long. Supply and demand is a powerful mechanism and all we need to do is wait them out... IF "they" even exist. Personally, I think this one is a winner so I am not concerned. My assessment is that we are in the netherworld awaiting the outcome of the auction. Just wait and see what happens when that "A" map goes RED in New York City!!! Go CVUS!!! CAP
