Julian Assange may be wrong on many things, but his arrest on trumped up charges, and the subsequent blatant excesses of an out of control Defense Dept are clear to most people. Britain, Europe and the USA became dominant National powers because of their robust legal system that protected citizens and most importantly free speech.
